Twilight Princess High Resolution Textures

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has recently seen a major update from Youtube user Insaneslug. He has worked on his own textures for a few different games and has recently released a texture pack for Twilight Princess. A few other Zelda games have seen their own major texture updates which make the games look like anything from TWW to TP and even several different of it’s own high resolution textures. Whats so interesting about this hi res texture pack is that from my knowledge, it is the first to have been released for TP.

This texture pack adds many different things including better lighting, realistic water, over all better detail to the game, and even gives Link his own facial hair. While I’m not a fan of the facial hair, it can easily be removed if you know what you’re looking for. An example of the details being added is instead of the grass looking like it does, it actually looks like real grass. This texture adds many other details to the game, but to see it all for yourself, you’ll need to check out the video after the jump.

I do not take clam having created this brilliant game nor the music used or emulator used. I only take credit for the textures i have created and used in this video. I have an original copy of this game and a GameCube and WII, the ISO use was made from the original disk I own.

I think this texture pack and with the emulators ability to allow us to play in full HD could add even more replay value to the game and maybe it would even help Caleb enjoy his speed runs of even more, although I would slow down a bit just to enjoy the scenery.
