Twilight Princess HD May Be Compatible with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck

As far as we know, Twilight Princess HD is going to be based on the original GameCube version of the game. However, it may be possible that the Wii Remote and Nunchuck will be compatible with the HD version of the game.

The official listing of Twilight Princess HD on Nintendo Sweden has the Wii Remote and Nunchuck listed under the compatible controls, right next to the Wii U Gamepad. Of course, this hasn’t been confirmed yet and may simply be a mistake. Still, it does beg the question: if the Wii Remote and Nunchuck are compatible with Twilight Princess HD, how will they be implemented? Will the motion controls found in the Wii version of the game reappear in the Wii U remake?

Again, this is all speculation at this point. Without an official announcement or confirmation, we can’t jump to any conclusions. Still, it’s fun to think about how Nintendo will incorporate the Wii Remote and Nunchuck if this is indeed true. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below!
