Tri Force Heroes Costumes Inspired by A Link Between Worlds Power Ups, New Costume Mentioned

As mentioned in the Nintendo Treehouse livestream of Tri Force Heroes, the inspiration behind the fashion and costume themes of the game were from the power-ups in A Link Between Worlds. Hiromasa Shikata (director of Tri Force Heroes) stated that he liked the idea of the power-ups in A Link Between Worlds and wanted to bring it back with expansion to the player’s abilities.

There was also a new costume, the Goron Garb, mentioned in today’s livestream. Apparently, this particular outfit allows the wearer to swim through lava – a skill likely necessary for certain dungeons puzzles. Perhaps some secrets will be hidden without this ability.
