The Zelda fandom all over the world dreams of different ways, even different places that they can pit our hero Link. Maybe a military shooter where Link wields an assault rifle? Or perhaps even a science fiction game where all of Hyrule is at war in the year 2209? Whatever the case, there are always different kinds of genres we want to be added to the series. Take the artists we’re looking at today, for example, who decided to flip our hero on his genre-specific head.

Just recently, Nathan, Jacob, and Julia of The Drawfee Channel got together and created three different genre-twisting versions of Link. The first Link created (by Nathan) is a take on Star Wars as it depicts Link as a Jedi Knight. Our hero in this picture has some traditional Jedi armor and wields a lightsaber-style version of the Hero’s Sword, as well as a shield more akin to something you would see in a galaxy far, far, away.

The second one (done by Jacob) is a very unique piece as it depicts Link in a more of an indie romantic comedy getup. Link appears to be wearing a very average college student outfit, including a ripped pair of black skinny jeans, Navi necklace, and tied back hair. He’s also holding a Triforce engraved phone and carrying a blue messenger bag with the Hylian crest on it.

The third and final drawing (done by Julia) is one that gives a more “dark fantasy” kind of tone. When looking at this picture, I definitely get someĀ Dark SoulsĀ vibes. The image has Link wearing a more armor heavy-style outfit, while still maintaining the traditional green tunic garb underneath all of it.

What did you think of these genre-altering Link’s? Is there any of these three that you would love to play a game out of? Let us know in the comments below!
