Check out the trailer below!

As the trailer shows, there is a new feature available whilst sailing which enables a speed boost, changing the pattern on the sail from blue to red. As well as sailing, various other characters and locations were revealed, such as Outset Island, the Helmaroc King and the new wind changing compass in the HD remake. The refined textures and visuals really do shine through on the Wii U engine and is visually much more impressive than its GameCube predecessor.

In addition, the HUD was shown for the first time, showing that the Wind Waker item will be assigned to the top button on the left D-pad, and that there will be three buttons, Y, X and Z used for inter-changeable items, with the ZR button used to crouch and roll.

But what did you think? Do you think that the HD remake trumps the original in terms of graphical beauty? Has the trailer persuaded you to purchase a Wii U in time for October? Tell us in the comments below!
