The Wind Waker HD releasing on September 26th in Japan

Nintendo has revealed via its official site that The Wind Waker HD will be releasing in Japan on September 26th; just under two months away! The much anticipated Wii U title features full 1080p HD graphics bringing the GameCube classic into a new visual dimension. Its use of the Tingle Bottle (replacing the Tingle Tuner) will allow you to post to Nintendo’s social media service, Miiverse, and interact with other players. A massive adventure for Wii U awaits and hopefully we hear release dates for North America and Europe very soon as the titles are expected to release in October.
As usual, but not always the case with Zelda titles, Japan indulges in the experience first. This is probably due to the fact that us Westerners will gain the chance to play A Link Between Worlds for 3DS a couple of months before Nintendo’s homeland receives it in their hands. Nevertheless, it’s going to be an exciting rest of the year with Zelda games to dine on!
