ZD Posting GraphicWelcome back to the Voidcast! This month, I decided to bite a most terrible bullet, and talk about a gaming cliche that has haunted me and many other gamers since childhood: water levels. Whether it is in a Zelda game or not, they are always there, but what is to be done about these enraging levels?

Check out the new episode after the jump.

I have always thought that water levels were a running disease of the video game genre. Whether it was a newer game or a classic, they almost always seem to tick people off, especially me. I try to look at them as a challenge, but in the end, my controller still seems to end up on the other end of the room (in several pieces sometimes). With some work, and in combination with other themes and elements, water levels could be made into a deeper, more enjoyable, and less migraine-causing experience. Here’s hoping that some developers hear our cries.

Do you also get irritated by water temples? Which one has stuck in your mind over the years? Leave a comment below.
