Remember that insanely horrible ’80s cartoon. What was it called again? Oh yeah, it was The Legend of Zelda and to be honest, if you put what you have already heard about it aside, watch it, and be the judge for yourself. You might just find that it really isn’t as bad as everyone says. In fact, if you can keep in mind that it was made in the 1980’s, you may just come to enjoy it and find yourself laughing at the silliness.

Now you’re asking yourself: “Okay, I’ll give it a chance, but where do I find it?”. As it turns out, you’re in luck. On May 22nd the complete series will be released on one collectors edition disc for a price that you may find a little too irresistible to not buy. Make the jump inside for more details.

It seems the collectors edition set has popped up on ncircleentertainment for only $8.99. I would jump on this bargain myself, but I already own the episodes and don’t have much interest in owning another copy of the episodes. Its sad to think that the poor reception the series got when it was originally aired may be the reason why we haven’t seen an awesome anime or movie adaption of the series. The Super Mario Bros. movie recently had a theatrical re-release, so maybe the world isn’t quite done with Nintendo based movies and TV shows. Let us know your thoughts on the complete set of The Legend of Zelda in the comments below.
