The Gerudo Become More Powerful with this Heavy Metal Cover of “Gerudo Valley” from Ocarina of Time

With its fast-paced beats and sharp, exotic notes, the theme of Ocarina of Time’s Gerudo Valley perfectly reflects our favorite tribe of warrior women. Strong and independent, the Gerudo prefer to face the desert heat alone, scimitar in hand. Don’t even think about going in, boy.
So what’s a way to honor these women? Why, pairing their theme with a style of music equal in its power, of course! And that’s exactly what guitarist 331Erock has done. After receiving several requests for music from The Legend of Zelda series, Eric Calderone has composed his own rendition of “Gerudo Valley.” By pairing the song with the heart-pounding speed, subtle backing rhythms, shredded guitars, and ever-changing flow of heavy metal, this theme truly bares its teeth to anyone who dares take on the Gerudo.
What do you think? Is this a cover worthy of these powerful warriors? Let us know in the comments below!
