Skyloft is the main attraction in the Sky area of Skyward Sword and it is where the vast majority of the characters live. Having played through Skyward Sword a number of times, I have the layout of the island completely memorized, knowing where all the houses are, all the entrances to the various areas, and even knowing where to find all the bugs. Overall I thought it was an alright main city, but I think it could have been a…

The newest form of transportation presented to us in Skyward Sword deviated from the methodical engagement of travel presented to us in previous games – typically in the form of a horse. This is in league with the way Spirit Tracks threw at us a completely different form of transportation, but taken to a completely new and exciting level. The prospect of exploring the sky aback a giant bird was original and exciting to fans everywhere. In the end, we…

We were told Link had been raised in a city floating in the sky known as Skyloft and knows nothing of the land below. Since then we have learned quite a bit about game play and even more about the first few hours of the game, but not much is known about the overall story or the connection between Skyloft and the the…

The above fan created clip combines footage from the two Skyward Sword Trailers that we’ve seen thus far, along with the Conan the Barbarian music theme.
