The numbers are finally in over at VG Chartz and after picking up 172,744 pre-orders in final week, Skyward Sword ended with a total of 774,403 pre-orders here in North America. Still not the massive amounts for some of the games that are on other consoles, but this was by far the most of any recent console Nintendo game. Pokemon Black and White were the only recent Nintendo games to have more pre-orders than Skyward Sword. With pre-orders now behind…

With just days until the release of Skyward Sword, the second to last pre-order update is in. In the latest update, Skyward Sword picked up 98,708 pre-orders, giving it a total of 691,562 pre-orders in the North America alone. These numbers are as of the week ending November 12th, so there will be one last entry to go next week to get the near final pre-order numbers. With most reviews at online websites coming out on November 11th, this gave…

The newest pre-order numbers are now in for the Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and we have mixed results to report. Last week Skyward Sword picked up 71,354 pre-orders in North America, which is up from 68,675 the previous week. Skyward Sword now has a total of 592,854 pre-orders thus far. With two more updates to this chart, I suspect that Skyward Sword is likely to end up garnering between 750,000 and 800,000 pre-orders for here in North America alone….

Last weeks pre-order numbers are in from over at VG Chartz and we are seeing some encouraging numbers. Skyward Sword picked up 68,675 pre-orders, bringing it to a total of 521,500. There are still 4 weeks to launch, meaning this chart will update another three times before Skyward Sword is removed from the charts. With the near 70k pre-orders this week, I think Skyward Sword is inline to surpass my 700,000 estimate and depending on how things pick up, perhaps…

The next entry in the Zelda series picked up 22,507 pre-orders during the week ending October 15th, reaching a lifetime total of 413,881 pre-orders. Skyward Sword was sitting at the #8 spot, but dropped to #9 after being surpassed by the PS3 version of Battlefield 3. Once again, Skyward Sword was one of the lowest titles in gathering pre-orders…

The latest numbers from VG Chartz are now available and it’s another week with very uninspiring numbers for Skyward Sword. The next Zelda installment picked up 23,198 pre-orders last week, giving it a total of 391,374 thus far. Next week almost certainly should see Skyward Sword surpass the 400,000 mark but that number just isn’t up to par with other premium titles. Jump inside to see some further analysis.

The latest pre-order numbers are available over at VGChartz and it’s not looking great for Skyward Sword. In the week ending October 1st, Skyward Sword picked up 20,938 pre-orders, giving it a total of 368,176 to date. Of the Top-10 titles on the list, Skyward Sword was the second lowest, finishing only ahead of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations for the Xbox 360. However, even that title is a multi-platform game and if you combine the numbers from the PS3 and 360,…

We are one week closer to the release of Skyward Sword and the folks over at VG Chartz have updated their pre-order listing. In the week ending September 24th, Skyward Sword picked up 30,470 additional pre-orders, down from 52,475 the previous week, but now giving it a 347,238 lifetime total. It wasn’t exactly a good week of pre-orders as many of the other games in the Top 20 outpaced Skyward Sword. That being said, since the previous weeks top title…
