Hello everybody and welcome to this week’s edition of Zelda Dungeon Talks! In the Legend Of Zelda series, the overworld plays a pretty important role, especially in the original and Zelda II. It usually acts as the main hub to get to all the different parts of Hyrule, but it sometimes has it’s own significant purpose (for example it holds all the statues you need to find in Twilight Princess) as well as a few small secrets here and there. But…

Hey everyone and welcome to the latest edition of Gossip Stone! Today the main focus is the possibility of the next Zelda U game skipping the Wii U and heading straight for an NX release. Of course it wouldn’t be Zelda U in that case but we’ll keep calling it that until any official details come into the scene. I’ve got two main points I’d like to discuss. These include the possibility of the game being a launch title but as a split…

Hey all and welcome to the latest edition of Gossip Stone! Today, my main focus is the idea of having direct blood relations in the Zelda series. As far as I can remember there have been no direct blood relations between Zelda protagonists, so today let’s get an idea of what it could be like.

Most of the time when a  new Zelda game is released, we get an exciting and fresh experience. Ganondorf is the main antagonist of the Zelda universe and is featured in almost all the Zelda games. While he does look different most of the time, sometimes we can find him to be a bit of a stale character. Now us fans aren’t sick of him, the Zelda franchise wouldn’t be the same without him, but sometimes we need a bit of…

Throughout the many games in the Zelda franchise we have seen many different versions of Hyrule. There are many changes throughout the world in the different games with some being set in a place completely different to Hyrule. In Link’s Awakening our hero traversed the mysterious island of Koholint on a quest to awaken the wind fish. In Oracle Of Ages and Oracle Of Seasons Link traveled through Labrynna and Holodrum respectively in order to reverse the chaos caused by Veran and General Onox. In Majora’s Mask Link ends up…

The puzzles we get to solve in the Legend of Zelda franchise are unlike any puzzles we have ever seen. From the start of the game, all the way up until the very end these puzzles get progressively harder. Puzzles are there to make dungeons harder. They add a lot of challenge to what would normally be a simple task. Seeing a block right in front of an otherwise unreachable ledge wouldn’t be any fun, would it? Wouldn’t you rather have…

A couple weeks now after the re-release of the Link To The Past manga and now that we have had a chance to read it, some members of the Zelda Dungeon are ready to voice their opinions on the topic. The comic hasn’t been around in large numbers since the early 90’s, and now is a better time than ever for the younger or new fans of the series to get a good read out of it. In this week’s…

In light of TheLegendofZaheer regaining the World record time for completing A Link Between Worlds (1:29:42), I would like to briefly delve into the world of speed-running video games. Learn more after the jump!
