Good day to you all. It’s time again to boot up another entry of ZI’s weekly Caption Contest! Now, I’ve been fighting my internet company for weeks trying to get internet in my new house (explaining my slight absenteeism lately), so I may be a little bitter toward technology at the moment. As a way to cope, this week’s focus will be on everyone’s most hated robot, Scrapper from Skyward Sword. Let’s see what words you can direct at this sarcastic bucket of bolts. Of course, we’ll first need to honor the winners of last week’s contest…

Greetings, everyone! As many of you may know, our dear friend Jei Evans set sail from Zelda Informer last month onto bigger adventures. Well, the staff wasn’t exactly sure if anyone could fill the big, important shoes that Jei left behind as the host of our weekly Caption Contest. They will probably always be too big for any person, but your pal Rod has decided to try to flop around in these clown shoes anyway. Heck, I’m the host of the Photoshop Contest already, so why not? Anyway, let’s go ahead and look back at the winners of Jei’s final contest and start off a fresh one…

Well, last week, I stated that I wouldn’t be easy to get rid of. Apparently, all it took was a promotion at work. Because of my new schedule taking up even more of my time and the needs of my family, this is going to be my last post here at Zelda Informer. I want to thank not only the team here, but all of you as well for being a part of my life here over the past year. I’m not gone forever, though. I’ll be joining your ranks and remain a fan of the site, so I will see you all there for sure. In the meantime…

So, did I scare you all by not posting a Caption Contest last week? Did you think it was all over? I may have a had a rough week, but you can’t get rid of me that easily! “Okay, Jei, settle down.” Sorry. I’m just pumped on energy for E3 this week!

Last time, I asked you all to caption an awkward interaction between Toon Link and Zelda. I was surprised to see so few entries, but we still had some good stuff come in from the community. As always, our winners are down below. But, can you believe it’s been one year…

It’s Monday again, which means that it’s time for another Caption Contest. I apologize for anyone I may have inconvenienced by posting the contest so late today, but my family came in to visit for my birthday so that took up a good portion of my afternoon.Last week, a number of you did a great job creating some witty banter between Zelda and Impa. As always, the winners from last week can be found below. This time around, we are revisiting the ever-expressive…

Happy Memorial Day to all of our U.S. fans out there. Remember to take this day to thank those who have fought and died for us as well as their families. You may choose to celebrate this day with a moment of silence or by partying, but remember that the freedom to celebrate those losses came at a price for many, and that’s what today is about. That’s why this week, I’ve decided to theme the Caption Contest around those who are in the Hylian ArmyLast week, we got some great responses…

Welcome back to another Caption Contest Monday! Last weekLink came up to bat in the A Link Between Worlds baseball mini-game, and I have to say that as challenging as it was, you all knocked it out of the park! *Buh-dum psh* Bad jokes aside, I enjoyed everyone’s submissions and our continued positive turnout for entries. This week, we’re coming back to a timeless pair when it comes to solid captions: Link and Midna from Twilight Princess. I thought it appropriate as we are now in the final…

It’s Caption Contest Monday again, so here we go.

Last week was…interesting. I thought that Link being dressed as a postman would garner captions about, you know, Link being a postman. And while some of you did succeed in creating something witty from that, many of you focused on one of the other “aspects” found within the photo. I underestimated you, ZI fans. I will say this: I appreciate many of you being creative enough to say what you want to say and still warrant that PG rating, just like the Disney cartoons of old…

Monday is here which means it’s time for this week’s Caption Contest.

Last week, two Links collided and you all have won the internet again. As always, the five most popular captions in each category are being featured below. It’s pretty much the same as every other week, but for those who may be new to the contest, post your captions in the comments below based on the image at the bottom of this post. This week, I made an exception for one entry who killed it in upvotes, so the rules are slightly bendable for something really great. Anyway, I feel like a challenge, so let’s see what you can do with our hero dressed…

It’s time for another caption contest here at ZI! I want to give a big thanks to Rod for covering for me last week while I had some things going on. The presentation and responses were a welcome surprise as I came back today. I like the crossover idea is one I will probably use more in the future. As always, check out last week’s winners below and leave your captions for this week in the comments at the bottom of the page. This week’s image features Link and…
