Storm’s Adventure with Skyward Sword

Storm Dain over at Destructoid has posted a new entry in his Storm’s Adventure series, this time taking a look at Skyward Sword. Basically the videos in this series serve as reviews, but they are done in his own unique way. Storm seems to be another victim that couldn’t get over the hurdle in regards to the controls of Skyward Sword and he actually does a good job in elaborating his point. I actually agree with him when it comes to the basic bokoblins, but I didn’t think this was a problem for many of the enemies, and it didn’t diminish gameplay for me at all. Go ahead and make the jump to check out the video, but I foreworn you that he doesn’t have the best things to say about the game.

So what do you think of Storms criticisms? I agreed with his analysis of the bokoblin, but I think that was the only enemy that had that problem. I developed a strategy of just swinging to the right and then immediately to the left to defeat them. Alternatively just wait for him to protect the right side, and immediately when he moves his sword, you can hit him from that side. What did you all think of his control analysis?
