The Great Deku Tree is a kind and generous guardian that not only helps our hero when he’s in need, but provides shelter for those who need it. With the 20th anniversary of Ocarina of Time right around the corner, it’s only fitting that fans pay homage to the series. So with that in mind, it make sense that people want to remember this mighty tree guardian.

One such person is the DIY crafter known as StellarNan as she creates a unique version of a calendar that involves the one and only Great Deku Tree. For this project, she uses a combination of dice, sculpey polymer clay, paint, spray adhesive, and all purpose moss mat. This calendar took StellarNan most of the day to complete, but in the end, it came out looking pretty cool.

What makes this project unique from her other DIY craft projects is that this one you can actually win. If you’re attending Ongaku Overdrive’s Power, Wisdom, and Courage Zelda Tribute Concert in Orlando, Florida this Saturday, you have a chance to win this Great Deku Tree Calendar!

In StellarNan’s last Zelda project, she made a box version of the Book of Mudora from A Link to the Past. She’s also worked on other game-based projects as well from series like Star Fox, Mega Man, Super Mario Kart, and much more.
