Speedrunner Breaks Record for First Quest: Legend of Zelda

Speed runners have always and will always impress me immensely. The skill to plow through a game as fast as possible is always amusing to watch and hear about. That being said, the record for completing the first quest in The Legend of Zelda has officially been broken.

LackAttack24 has completed the first quest of the original The Legend of Zelda in an extremely impressive 31 minutes and 2 seconds. LackAttack24 dethroned Darkwing Duck, who previously held the record with a completion time of 31 minutes and 7 seconds. Five seconds is all that separated these two incredible runs, and congratulations are in order to LackAttack24 for completing such a feat!
