Skyward Sword Fact Sheet and Upgrade Details

Nintendo has recently released the official Skyward Sword fact sheet which contains some interesting tid-bits about the game. Most of the information has previously been revealed such as the E+10 ESRB rating, release date, and details on the limited edition package of the game.  However there is one small detail in the press release sheet that states some exciting news.

Just a couple weeks ago we were first introduced to a trailer of Skywards Sword’s new upgrade system, as far as we knew Link would be just be collecting materials around Hyrule in order to upgrade his arsenal at the local scrap shop. But apparently the materials Link will gather will not be only limited to upgrades. According to the fact sheet Link will be able to make brand new items all together from the materials as well. As of now what the entirely new items made from scratch referred to in the fact sheet is still a mystery. It is also important to note another statement in the press release that was previously revealed via Nintendo twitter that a new boss mode will be included in Skyward Sword similar to the one in Ocarina of Time 3D.
