We’ve recently updated both the Skyward Sword Gratitude Crystal Guide and the Skyward Sword Pieces of Heart Guide, and today we have yet another Skyward Sword page for you all. This comes in the form of the rebuilt Skyward Sword Goddess Cubes Guide. Much like the previous guide updates, this includes detailed descriptions, screenshots, and maps for every single Goddess Cube location, as well as the corresponding Goddess Treasure Chest locations. As always, your input is much appreciated, so be sure to let us know any mistakes we’ve made on the guide, or if you have any suggestions how we can improve it.

Overall there was 27 Goddess Cubes to be found in Skyward Sword and personally, I thought it was an alright addition to the game. It really was quite similar to the Treasure Charts from both The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. However, it seemed the bulk of the Goddess Cubes were just right there in front of you and the corresponding treasure charts weren’t that hard to get. If you just naturally went through the game, you would have unlocked nearly half the goddess cubes just simply by activating the cubes that were right in your way. I personally would have liked to see more cubes that involved more exploration and discovery. Furthermore, the corresponding goddess treasure chests could have been a bit more exciting than just sitting on a random island in the sky.

What were your thoughts on the Goddess Cubes? Do you think they were good collectibles that fit it with the game? How did it compare to previous collectibles in past Zelda titles? Let us know in the comments below.
