Only a Few Days Remain to Pre-Order “Homemade in Hyrule” Recipe Fan-Zine
Posted on August 19 2022 by Alexis S. Anderson
The Zelda fanbase has been busier than ever cooking Zelda-like meals at home since Breath of the Wild introduced its cooking mechanic. Speaking of which, a brand new fan-zine comprised of Zelda-inspired recipes, illustrations, and writings from fifty-five contributors is available for preorder through August 21st. A coaster, tea towel, and hardcover copy of the zine are stretch goals for the project. There are currently three pre-order packages priced at $15, $25, and $60, respectively. Best of all, the proceeds will be donated to the charity Action Against Hunger, a global organization committed to ending world hunger.
All of the content in the zine conforms to the comfy-and-casual “homemade” theme, invoking a “potluck at the town square or berry picking in the backyard.” And the contributions can be inspired by any mainline or spinoff Zelda game, including the Tingle and CD-i games. The pre-order packages for “Homemade in Hyrule” are as follows:
- Digital Delights [$15]
- A PDF of the cookbook
- A PDF Side Zine containing 7 written pieces
- Four Printable Recipe Cards and other digital goodies
- (Not eligible for stretch goals)
