Nintendo Treehouse Streaming this Friday, Will Announce Smash Bros. for Wii U Release Date

For those unaware, there are a couple live streams going on this Friday that will be featuring Smash Bros. The first is from NicoNico in Japan. They will be streaming Super Smash Bros. for 3DS just before the game itself is available at retail. The second stream (and the one more relevant to us) will be hosted by Nintendo Treehouse. They are going to be streaming the Holiday lineup of games at 10AM PT this Friday. Among those games will be Smash Bros. What’s more, a Nintendo Rep during a GameStop conference confirmed that the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U release date will be revealed during the stream.

The official “we’re going to get more Smash Bros. hype than we can handle” is beginning this week. Also don’t be surprised if Nintendo announces the release of the Super Smash Bros. for 3DS demo in the United States during the stream too. It could possibly release Friday or shortly thereafter.
