Youtube group Yosemiteland recently posted their entry in the Nintendo Short film contest. In this video we see someone learn the err of his ways when he picks up a lost 3DS and is taught a lesson by Link himself. Here is what they had to say about it.

On December 16th, 2011 Nintendo sponsored a 24 hour film challenge where eight teams of four people were given only 24 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film based of one of four games for the Nintendo 3DS. The options were: Mario Kart 7, Tetris Axis, Super Mario 3D Land, and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Our team randomly selected, The Legend of Zelda. Every video in the competion had to include an orange traffic cone and a specific line of dialogue: “You have to see it to believe it.” Watch to see what happens when 4 strangers have 24 hours to make a video when provided a Camera, Mic, a Driver to take us anywhere in a 10 mile radius, and a computer to edit on.

Jump inside to check it out for yourself.

I think that this was really good, especially since they only had 24 hours to write and complete it. Although the dramatic scenes of the N64 controller may have been a bit odd. Of course seeing Link silent again was no surprise. A couple fan films in the past has played with that idea as well.

So what do you think? Do you like the video? Would you want to see more from them? Let us know in the comments below.
