Nintendo Releases New Skyward Sword HD Trailer

As we move closer to the release date of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, many new videos have been popping up to further show the hard work that Nintendo has been putting into the remaster of the beloved Wii game. Today, Nintendo released a new trailer titled “A Hero Rises,” and it is sure to make you even more excited for the upcoming release.

At two minutes in length, the trailer showcases the updated graphics and gameplay and also gives some background information on Zelda lore. What truly stands out for me is the vibrancy of the colors. The colors make the gameplay look so appealing, especially when comparing it to the more neutral palette of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The soundtrack in the trailer also makes the game feel exciting and fast-paced, and it makes me want to play it now. As someone who was not a fan of the original Skyward Sword, I think this remaster is well deserved and will turn those of us who are indifferent into lovers of this game.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is set to release on July 16, 2021, with both digital copies and physical copies. In the meantime, you can enjoy this trailer on Nintendo’s YouTube channel as you count down the final days until the release.
