Nintendo’s official Zelda Twitter account recently promoted a line of limited edition Zelda notebooks by manufacturer Moleskine. These lined, hard-cover notebooks, originally released last year, take inspiration from the original Legend of Zelda game and feature 8-bit Link in a variety of moments.
Moleskine’s Zelda line consists of three different notebook designs with their own respective themes. “Moving Link” highlights Zelda I‘s overworld, featuring Link walking a textured path on the cover and a few select overworld locations on its endpages. “Sword” recreates the iconic scene of Link receiving a sword from the Old Man on its cover and features weapon / item sprites on its endpages. The “Collector’s Edition” notebook, which comes in special NES cartridge-inspired packaging, shows Link holding up the Triforce on the cover, as well as our hero’s final confrontation with Ganon and his rescue of Princess Zelda on the respective endpages.
Each of these three notebooks is hard cover and size large (5″ x 8.25″) with 240 pages. Each one also comes with a set of Zelda stickers and a paper band with facts / hints from The Legend of Zelda. All three are available now from Amazon; “Moving Link” is available here for about $26 USD, “Sword” is available here for about $26 USD, and the “Collector’s Edition” is available here for about $31 USD.
Do you plan to pick up any of these Zelda-themed notebooks? Have you already bought one? Let us know in the comments below!
