New Hyrule Warriors Video Featuring Link’s “Sword Play” (Japanese)

Tecmo Koei has posted a new video featuring Link in the upcoming Hyrule Warriors. The video gives us another glimpse at Link’s special abilities and their effectiveness on the battlefield.

It features some incredibly powerful thrust attacks and the famous “Spin Attack”, all of which send enemies flying in a style that the Warriors franchise is known for. It also shows a King Dodongo fight that takes place in Hyrule Field, outside the castle. During this fight, we get a peek at one of Link’s boss finishing moves.

Being a Japanese commercial, it does show a release date of August 14, and details the content of the Premium and Treasure editions of the Japanese versions of the game. For more information on these special editions, you can check them out here. The game releases on September 19 in Europe, September 20 in Australia, and on September 26 in the US.
