Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was one of the marquee games during today’s Nintendo Direct. In addition to the news that Banjo & Kazooie would be available for the game today and the reveal of Fatal Fury‘s Terry Bogard as the next DLC fighter, Nintendo dropped a bombshell by announcing that even more DLC fighters are currently in development.

When Nintendo initially announced the plans for downloadable content for Smash Bros. Ultimate in the form of Challenger Packs, fans expected only five DLC fighters to be ultimately released. Joker, The Hero, Banjo-Kazooie, Terry, and one more yet-to-be-announced fighter would have rounded out the set. Well, it seems that after the company saw the continued excitement from fans with each new character reveal, they came to their senses and set out to work on adding even more to the roster.

We’ll just have to wait and see if any other big-name Zelda characters are announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Who do you want to see added to the roster? Let us know in the comments below!
