Development Confirmed for Upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC

Today’s Smash Direct gave us a lot of information to take us down the home stretch to the game’s launch in December. Yet, launch, it seems, is only the beginning. Confirmed by director Masahiro Sakurai himself, it seems the developers of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are hard at work creating some post-launch DLC.
Each DLC “pack” will contain a brand new fighter not yet seen in Smash, plus a new stage and multiple music tracks. Each pack can be purchased separately for $5.99 USD, or in a bundle called the “Fighter’s Pass.” With the pass, you will get all five fighters, their stages, and all the musical tracks. And, as an added bonus for purchasing the pass, you will receive a Mii Fighter outfit based off Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The Fighter’s Pass will retail for a cool $24.99 USD.
Details are still set to come out about just who each of these new fighters are, so stay tuned here, and we will keep you updated!
