Miiverse Highlights: The Love for Vaati is in the Air

Welcome to yet another Miiverse Highlights: Zelda Informer‘s Thursday Weekly Feature! Last week we held a #WeeklyChallenge in which we asked you all to draw us your #1 favorite character from The Minish Cap. Those of you with the most passionate and unique drawings would get a chance to have your drawing featured during this week’s Miiverse Highlights!

If you’re new to this feature, here’s how things go down. Miiverse Highlights consists of two things, a #WeeklyChallenge and a #WeeklyPoll. When a #WeeklyChallenge is issued, Zelda fans will be asked to draw something based on the Miiverse Community the challenge is posted in for a chance to have their drawing featured on our site. A #WeeklyPoll, on the other hand, will ask a question based on the series or a specific game where, after the week is done, I will take the most-voted answer and choose the best drawings and screenshots on Miiverse that I can find based on that answer.

Much like our previous #WeeklyChallenges, we didn’t receive all that many submissions. Because of this, all of them will be featured yet again! Hopefully this feature, along with those of you that contribute to it, will continue to grow and we can receive more entries on our future #WeeklyChallenges. But in any case, let’s get down to business, shall we?

First we have a lovely drawing of Link and Ezlo made by FluffyClouds. It’s a rather simple drawing, but the addition of Link’s name along with the Triforce definitely help give it a nice touch.

Here we have an entry featuring this #WeeklyChallenge’s most popular character: Vaati. If you’re wondering why there’s a Zelda Informer logo on this drawing, that’s because the artist, Walterinator, is actually one of our very own staff! Nice shameless self-promotion there, Darrin!

Last, but definitely not least, we have Nummonkee‘s fantastic entry! I love both the style and pose for this drawing! These last two entries, along with a separate, written response, shows us just how much Zelda fans truly love Vaati. Definitely one of the more interesting and unique villains from the series.

Now, onto this week’s event! Since last week we had our #WeeklyChallenge, it’s time for another #WeeklyPoll! This time around, we ask everyone at The Wind Waker Community to tell us what their two favorite characters are from the game!
