Majora’s Mask Opera Demo #4

Over the lase few weeks we have been covering the first three creative opera demos from YouTube member M. Bulteau. Well he recently posted the fourth installment in the series titled Deku Palace Choir. This one is a little different from the previous videos which only showed a the silhouettes of a couple people behind a curtain action out the parts of various characters from the game. This time we see an animated group of dancing Deku Scrubs along with the King and the Deku Butler singing about the tale of the lost princess and that they will soon punish the captured monkey by boiling in a cauldron. Just as the title says, the song is sung by a choir representing the voices of whole Deku Kingdom to the familiar tune of the Deku Palace.

I liked the change of pace with this one. Seeing the little Dekus dance along everywhere was fun to see. And of course the Deku Butler standing perfectly still maintaining that level of dignity at all times. There is that strange character that wanders into the scene on the right later on. I’m sure that will lead to something larger further down the road.
