A Link To The Past set a huge musical precedent for the Zelda series. The SNES classic introduced the world to the Fairy Fountain theme and Princess Zelda’s theme. While these songs have appeared in multiple games since then, some of the best music in A Link To The Past is exclusive to the 1992 masterpiece.

One of the most powerful songs in the game is the Credits theme which concludes the player’s experience with A Link To The Past. The song has a beautiful, steady melody that provides a sense of peace to the listener. This beautiful cello cover by CelloBassett is an excellent encapsulation of one of the Legend of Zelda series’ most underrated song.

The song opens with a slow moving melody that eventually transitions into a magnificent version of the game’s main theme. Much like The Wind Waker‘s “Hero of the Wind,” there is a sense of triumph in the song that illustrates how far Link has come in his long adventure. Overall, this is one of the best songs in A Link To The Past and the cello is a perfectly suited instrument to create an epic cover.
