Link and Other Nintendo Characters Will Appear on Special Lunchables Boxes This Fall
Posted on September 04 2020 by Rod Lloyd
With the school year starting up once again, I’m sure Lunchables are going to be a top priority on many families’ grocery lists. In an effort to “power up” this lunchtime classic, Nintendo has partnered with Lunchables to bring some of its most popular characters to grocery store shelves across the US. Until the end of the year, select Lunchables boxes will feature characters from Nintendo Switch titles like Link’s Awakening, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Pokémon Sword & Shield.
As part of the partnership, Nintendo and Lunchables are also offering customers a chance to win a Nintendo Switch and more. Each Nintendo-themed Lunchables box has a code inside that can be redeemed online for a chance to win a “Nintendo Switch prize pack,” which will include a Switch console and two download codes. A total of 750 prize packs will be awarded by the end of 2020. Customers may receive 100 My Nintendo Platinum points if they don’t win a prize pack.
I know I’m excited to see more Nintendo representation at the grocery store. What about you? Are you planning to nab any Nintendo-themed Lunchables this fall? Let us know in the comments below!
