While best known for driving the Phonogram Man absolutely nuts in Ocarina of Time, the “Song of Storms” is actually a delightful melody that makes us wonder how it could ever make anybody go insane. Perhaps if the man from the windmill was here listening to this wonderful arrangement of the score from musician Jessica Esposito, he’d be able recognize the tune for its beauty and enjoy it.

The biggest standout from this performance of the “Song of Storms” from Ocarina of Time is how it is played, and that’s thanks to the power of woodwind instruments. Combining the use of a clarinet, flute, and bassoon, Esposito is able to bring this cover to life. They’ve also done woodwind arrangements for different tunes from The Wind Waker, so that’s a plus for me seeing as how I’m such a big fan of that Zelda game.

Esposito also does woodwind covers for movies and television scores such as Arthur, Bojack Horseman, Rugrats, CatDog, Invader Zim, and a lot more. The only other video game series they have tackled is Sonic the Hedgehog. If you want to keep up with what Esposito is working on next, you can follow them on Instagram.
