The time has come once again to showcase Zelda Dungeon’s wonderful and furry companions! This has been an on going series, so if you’ve missed the first two parts, you can start here with Part One, and read Part Two here. You won’t want to miss the legendary companions that join us on our adventures here at Zelda Dungeon.

This has been a really fun series to bring together because I feel like it gave me the chance to learn a little more about my colleagues here at ZD and a chance to see everyone’s amazingly adorable pets. Sadly, it’s time to wrap up this series and showcase the last of what has been submitted for Legendary Companions.

Loki and Zera — Companions of The Zelda Cast Host Alasyn Eletha

We have another black cat joining our list of legendary companions. Alasyn says that you’ll find Loki hanging out at Link’s/Zelda’s house in Hateno. He’d either head off to the forest or fields nearby to hunt some bugs, or you can find him venturing off into town where the townsfolk would spoil him with food and love. Loki looks like a kitty worthy of all the love!

The second of Alasyn’s companions is a beautiful calico cat named Zera. Alasyn comments on Zera saying, “Zera is a bit different. She’d probably laze around in Link’s treehouse in Kokiri Forest during the day, bapping fairies around whenever they come to bug her, and then hang out with Poes and haunt graveyards at night.”

Mochi and Kimchi — Companions of Podcast Member Jules Gia

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen some canines among our companions, but Jules has two wonderful canine companions to share with us. First up is Mochi, a Japanese spitz Pomeranian mix. Regarding Mochi you can find them barking at the Cuccoos in Kakiriko Village.

Second companion to Jules is a Korean village dog named Kimchi. You’ll find Kimchi sleeping near Snowfield Stable in Hyrule. Kimchi looks like they might want to play some fetch when they wake up too!

Mandy Lynn, Daisy Mae, and Charlie — Companions of Art Director of Heather Beard

The final submissions for Legendary Companions comes from yours truly, and I have three wonderful companions to share with everyone. First is my old lady cat named Mandy Lynn. Mandy is “chonk” of an American shorthair. She is fourteen years old and her favorite thing to do nowadays is to nap and to eat treats. You’d likely find her curled up on a comfy chair in the home of someone in Hyrule.

Next up is another older member of my family named Charlie. We aren’t sure what kind of dog Charlie is other than fluffy. He’s an old man of a dog, and he loves to curl up on blankets and snooze. He’s a people-person, so he would most likely find himself right at home among Hateno Village following people around and finding a comfy spot to sleep for the afternoon.

Finally, to wrap up my legendary companions and this series is the newest member of my family, Daisy Mae, or as we lovingly call her “Baby Cat.” Daisy is a young and playful Torbie who enjoys sitting in windows and bird watching. You’ll most likely find Baby Cat in Hyrule Castle exploring every nook and cranny and gazing out one of the castle’s many windows.

There you have it! We’ve showcased many of Zelda Dungeon’s Legendary Companions, and I hope that you have you have enjoyed this series as much as I have writing it. Zelda Dungeon is a large team made up of so many wonderful people and, as you’ve seen now, legendary companions.

Thanks for coming along with this series! Let us know your thoughts on this series in the comments below. Do you hope to see more of Zelda Dungeon’s pets in the future?  Be sure to tell us about your own legendary companions in the comments below.
