Recently, the Social Media Team at Zelda Dungeon celebrated the members of our staff on our various social media platforms. And after all of the love that was spread to our many team members, I thought we could spread the love by shedding some light on the lovable companions of the ZD Staff as well. I gave our staff the opportunity to share an image of their pet or pets, and share some basic information about them, I also asked each participating team member where they might find their pet in Hyrule.

So without any further delay, because I know everyone would rather scroll through an article full of animals than read what this says, I present to you: Zelda Dungeon’s Legendary Companions, Volume One!

Scout — Companion of Marathon Administrator Katherine Endicott

To start us off, meet Katherine Endicott’s border collie, Scout! “Scout loves to herd animals and humans. She would feel right at home in Ordon Village, helping Link corral the goats, cuccos, and children!” I bet Scout would do an amazing job in Ordon!

Galadriel — Companion of Copy Editor Alexandria Weber

Next up, meet Alexandria Weber’s gorgeous silver Persian chinchilla, Galadriel. You’ll find Galadriel in “Riju’s Chambers! Galadriel knows she is royalty already and there are so many pillows for her ‘thrones.'” All of that floof deserves to be celebrated.

Boo — Companion of Managing Editor Judy Calder

Judy Calder is up next and she shares her Yorkshire Terrier named Boo. You’ll find Boo “in Hyrule Castle enjoying a life befitting that of a royal doggo. During the day, you’d find her exploring the castle grounds and enjoying the sunshine as she tootles along, ball in her mouth. In the evening, she’d find a blazing hot hearth in front of which to sit, basking in the heat. Eventually, she’d take her rightful place on the princess’ lap, curling up tight to snooze in comfort.”

Milo, Klyde, Gerald, and Lily — Companions of Social Media Team Member Drew Bednaroski

Drew Bednaroski has a whole hoard of pets to share with us! First up is a lovely kitty cat named, Milo. You’ll find Milo in Zelda’s lap looking for pets! Give Milo some pets from all of us, Drew!

After Milo we have Klyde. You’ll find Clyde slaying monsters with Link! Looks like a fierce kitty! Link will be lucky to have you along!

Drew has a few more cats to include on our list of companions, next up we have Gerald. You’ll find Gerald in Hyrule Castle’s kitchen eating all of the food.

And finally to round up Drew’s crew of kitties we have Lily. “she would make her home on the throne like the princess she is!” Looks that we have another royal kitty to join the bunch.

Epona — Companion of Social Team Manager Mira

Mira’s sweet doggo Epona is up next in our list. You would find Epona, “at Link’s house all cozied up in the warmth or following the horses around in a field.” The little saddle is the absolute cutest thing! All ready for a day in the field running with the horses.

Goose — Companion of YouTube and Social Team Member Kat Shaff

We have another cute pupper entering the fray! Meet Kat Shaff’s Australian Cattle Dog/Red Heeler, Goose! When asked where you would find Goose in Hyrule Kat resonded with, “Either be splashing around Lake Hylia or pouncing through the snow in the Hebra Mountains. He absolutely loves snow and swimming. The only other place I would for sure find him is chasing the Master Cycle Zero, as one of Goose’s favorite activities is chasing me around dirt bike riding!”

Pippin, Dougal, and Link  — Companions of  Writing Team Member Julia

We’ve seen some cats and dogs, but how about Julia’s bunny, Pippin? You’ll find Pippin at home chasing the Blupees on Satori Mountain! Looks like Pippin is trying to pretend to be a Blupee, great job Pippin!

Julia has a few other pets to show us! Her hedgehog, Dougal would be helping Link find Korok seeds. It looks like Dougal has already found one Makar!

And to wrap off Julia’s pets, it’s the Hero of Hyrule himself, or rather, the Hedgehog of Hyrule, Link! Julia states that you’d find Link saving Hyrule of course.

Junior — Companion of Forum Staff Member Princess Niki

Final to wrap up some of Zelda Dungeon’s Legendary Companions we have Princess Niki’s Domestic Long Haired Cat named, Junior. You’ll find Junior hiding under a bush in Hateno Village. I wonder if there will be some toys hidden there too? Nice to meet you Junior!

These are just a few of Zelda Dungeon’s pets! There were so many submissions for the feature that all of the cuteness could not fit into one article. So stay tuned, I’ll be showcasing more of ZD’s Legendary Companions in the near future. For now, what did you think? Where would you find your own legendary companion in Hyrule? Let us know in the comments down below.
