Koroks. I love ’em, you love ’em, everybody loves ’em. These little leaf-faced guys have stolen the hearts of Zelda fans since their introduction in The Wind Waker and have persisted to this day in Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity. Once the children of the Kokiri Forest, Koroks now roam the wilds as sapling-like creatures that aid the incarnations of Link over the ages. Given their popularity, I have no doubt that we’ll continue to see Koroks as mainstays of the franchise for years to come.

For those of you that need more Koroks in your life, YouTube account Brad’s Art School has you covered. In a brief instructional video, Brad walks you through the process of drawing your very own Korok. Given that each Korok is unique, Brad provides tips on altering the design that he details, giving you the tools and know-how necessary to really let your creative side out. I’ll personally be using what I’ve learned with my son to see what kind of Koroks we come up with!

If you like what you’ve seen, be sure to give Brad’s YouTube channel a look for some more great art tips.

So what did you think? Are you going to try your hand at designing one of our favorite leaf-masked sprites? Let us know in the comments below!
