image_307179_320If you know anything about speed runs at all, I’m sure you’ve heard of Cosmo: the man most famous for most of his Zelda runs. He’s done great runs of Majora’s Mask and The Wind Waker, which he just recently made a new record for. Today the focus is his speed run of Ocarina of Time, coming in at a measly 22 minutes and 38 seconds.

ComputerandVideoGames (CVG) decided that it was probably time to interview him on his amazing, seemingly unbeatable record. How did he do it? What glitches did he employ to get to Ganon so quickly? Where did he learn it all?

He answers that and more in the article after the jump.

After reading through it all, it kinda helps you realize that speed running is more than just a single person working to perfect their time. It’s a group effort. Using the many things Cosmo and some of his partners discovered along the way, he managed to come out with that remarkable time.

Speed running has always captivated me, and I think what Cosmo is doing is really cool. I hope he continues this for the future. Let us know what you think of the article in the comments bellow!
