IGN has recently updated their “Top 25 Nintendo 3DS Games” list for Spring 2015. This new update comes with a couple of the more recent releases for Nintendo’s handheld, including Majora’s Mask 3D. In fact, all three Legend of Zelda titles released for the 3DS managed to make the list, with one of them actually landing the #1 spot!

Hitting #11 was none other than the recently released Majora’s Mask 3D! Praising the game for it’s “interesting game design” and “strong world building”, it comes as no surprise that this fantastic entry in the series made this list after only being out for 2 weeks. Moving 4 spots forward we have Ocarina of Time 3D hitting #7 on the list! It’s been almost 3 years since this game was released on the 3DS and it still manages to make it to the Top 10 in lists like these. This truly shows just how brilliant the game is.

Landing the #1 spot on this Top 25 list is the critically acclaimed “sequel” to the SNES classic: A Link Between Worlds. Bringing with it the return of 2D-style Zelda gameplay, along with an updated version of A Link to the Pasts Hyrule, this game has become a fan favorite for both new and old players alike. I’d say the #1 spot is very well deserved for this fun and nostalgic Zelda game.
