Hyrule Warriors: Fi Character Trailer

As with the other playable fighters in Hyrule Warriors, Fi has made her way to Tecmo Koei’s Japanese YouTube channel for her own gameplay trailer. We now get to see her skills in dance-based combat in action, as well as some interesting tidbits in the smaller details of the video.

I can’t be the only one a little weirded out by the very beginning of the video. Fi does get a little too close for comfort. After that, though, she proceeds to beat the life out of several bokoblins with her mad dance skills, and her awesome ability to transform into a sword and fling herself all over the place. Where was this crazy ability in Skyward Sword?!

26 seconds into the video, Fi, interestingly, says something just before her special attack. Of course, she says some gibberish whenever she spoke in Skyward Sword, but this time, it almost sounds like real words. Maybe they are putting some actual words in her mouth for this game.

There is also this strange object:

This power-up was dropped by one of the beaten bokoblins. Whether it reloads ammo for a certain item or causes some sort of status effect is still unknown. What do you guys think it is?
