Hyrule Warriors Character Trailer: Link

On Friday morning, Tecmo Koei was kind enough to release a gameplay trailer centered around Link! While our hero is supposedly a knight-in-training, one wouldn’t think so after seeing his incredible acrobatic moves being displayed in this action-packed video.

We saw a good deal of what Link is capable of at E3 this year, but this trailer seems to provide a little more insight into his moveset and how he plays overall. His special attacks in particular seem to have a wide range and appear especially effective at carving through groups of foes. We also see Link handily defeating Dodongo, and sure enough, he still seems to dislike smoke.
What really piques my interest is that if they released a trailer for Link, how many more characters do you think we will see? With roughly nine weeks until Japan gets their hands on the game, could we be getting a new character trailer every week leading to its release? What do you think?
