Hylian Shield iPhone Case

No matter how often I see fan creations of Zelda items, the things that people can do always seem to amuse me. If people were willing to sell their awesome talents, this world would be a much better place. Stitchmond on Reddit shared a picture of an iPhone case that he/she cross-stitched. I know a few crafty people, but none of them have ever made something as epic as this. This person put a very good interpretation of the Hylian shield onto the case, even though the case itself is rectangular and not crest shaped like the actual shield. This adaptation makes sense though, so it does not degrade the piece, in my opinion. Make the jump and check it out for yourself.

Let’s be honest… What Zelda fan wouldn’t want this as their case if they had an iPhone? It’s legendary! According to the creator of the case, the text above and below the Hylian Crest reads, “It’s dangerous to go alone. Take this.” Considering that I don’t read Hylian, I couldn’t say if this is true or not, so it looks like I’ll be taking his or her word for it.

Sadly, the creator does not sell customized cases. But there is some good news in this. If you get a cross-stitchable case like this, you can make your own! Even if it does take the fun out of buying the case already made, it will give you a sense of accomplishment when you finally finish it. That’s all that matters, right?
