The events of Ocarina of Time are pretty well known to most familiar with the Zelda series. That said, there’s been a number of interpretations on that story over the years. Ranging from manga to short stories to countless videos, there is no limit to the ways fans can experience the story of the Nintendo 64 classic. There are some of these versions, though, that really are spectacular.

About a year ago now, the folks at TerminalMontage brought us their unique and comedic take on the events of Ocarina of Time leading up to Link’s pulling of the Master Sword (check that out here). At the beginning of October, they decided it was time to let the Hero of Time wake up and give us part two of the adventure.

The video picks up with Link “waking up” in the Chamber of Sages. When he’s sent on his journey to awaken the Sages, Link travels to Kakariko Village, claims the Hookshot, and then heads into the Forest Temple. The iconic area is recognizable to anybody who’s played it, even if the way Link makes his way through it is a bit… unorthodox.

I personally love this goofy video. The dancing and singing Phantom Ganon is just phenomenal and over the top, but I also really appreciate the moments of Link walking out of the Temple of Time and side-hopping across Hyrule Field. There’s also something to be said about the captions on the video. If you have your closed captioning turned on, there are captions at certain points in the video that can add to the amusement.

With this being part two, I suspect there may be other parts of this series in the future. Are you looking forward to those? What did you think of part two? Let us know in the comments below, or chat about it over in our Discord!
