Great Zelda Parody of the Game of Thrones Intro

The Pixel Kingdom, a YouTube channel that makes high-quality animations and video game crossovers, has made a Zelda-themed parody of Game of Thrones’ intro animation. The pixelated music and pop-up visuals are very well-made, and the video is quickly getting quite popular.

This whole video is really awesome. Many Zelda fans make connections between Hyrule and the seven kingdoms of Westeros, discussing the similarities and differences, and a video like this really makes people like me want to see more – for HBO to make a mini series about everybody fighting for the throne of Hyrule. Perhaps George R. R. Martin will play some Zelda and it will convince him to start writing that potentially awesome spin-off.
