Gossip Stone: Where Is Tri Force Heroes Going To Be Placed On The Timeline?

Hey everyone and welcome to the latest edition of Gossip Stone! I’m bringing it to you a day late due to some minor setbacks so I apologize for that. Now with that out of the way, our main focus for today will be the upcoming Zelda game, Tri Force Heroes and more specifically, its placement on the timeline. So without further delay, let’s get on with it!

So to start things off, what do we currently know about the story of Tri Force Heroes? The most important element of that is where it takes place. We have been told that the story takes place in a foreign kingdom so that rules out Hyrule completely. However, this might sound like I’m being too specific, but it doesn’t rule out New Hyrule. Now I know you are probably all thinking that I’m an idiot and that Hyrule and New Hyrule are the same thing. Well technically they aren’t the same. This is only my opinion and it is in no way 100% correct, but it could be possible. From what we saw in the trailer, Nintendo did give the heroes the toon Link look. But anyway that isn’t what we are here to talk about and its only a theory, so lets move onto timeline placement.

If my New Hyrule theory is correct, then this game should place after Spirit Tracks. New Hyrule could have been further developed into the Kingdom that it is in Tri Force Heroes. I don’t know how they would’ve become obsessed with fashion but that’s how Nintendo has made it. It would be nice to return to New Hyrule as well, it’s been a while since Spirit Tracks and that game wasn’t the greatest (it wasn’t bad, I enjoyed it but honestly it was just meh compared to other games). Either way it is still a bit early to speculate about timeline placement and all that even though the game has two months until release, we just haven’t been given much detail with this game but that’s ok, gives us more to look forward to and enjoy when we actually get to playing the game.
