Tri Force Heroes was a game that pretty much came out of nowhere. Many people had mixed feelings about the game, was it just something to keep us busy while Nintendo continued working on Zelda U? Most of us have played the game by now and I can say with honesty that I enjoyed the game. It was quite unusual in terms of the classic Zelda formula. Gameplay wise it played very similarly to Four Swords and Four Sword Adventures, although the game…

Despite the release of not only Hyrule Warriors DLC, but also a new handheld entry in Tri Force Heroes, 2015 was relatively low-key for Zelda. As Jon discussed a couple of days ago, the highlight — if you can call it that — was just how little we heard about Zelda Wii U. Based solely on what we know right now, though, 2016 looks to be the series’ biggest year since 2011. Considering that it’s the franchise’s 30th anniversary, as…

Which Zelda game…

You could earn various materials for competing, with each world holding different rewards than the next. With some of the materials being exclusive to Colosseum Mode, the mode definitely has its worth. Based off of this and the mechanics, would it be reasonable (or even desired) to implement this feature into future…

It has been some time now since it was released, but let’s be honest. Hyrule Historia had some of the biggest impact on the series in years. Theories about past titles, and the upcoming Zelda Wii U keep popping up with evidence taken from the book, the timeline revealed in the book keeps getting updated, and there was loads of concept artwork that still gets talked about today. It was a great item, but is there room for another? When…
