Ganondorf Spotted in New Smash Bros. Video

If you are a fan of the Smash Bros. series, there’s a good chance that you’ve seen the 5-minute video that Nintendo released today to show off the features of the 3DS version. However, a closer look at the trailer will reveal a character that they probably hadn’t intended to show off at this point in time.

The official Nintendo Japan YouTube channel released a video this morning, in addition to their Nintendo Direct, to highlight the many features that the portable iteration of Smash will be sporting. Upon closer inspection of the video, many users online have spotted the King of the Gerudo, Ganondorf.  The video in question is below:

Did you find him? He’s around the 55 second mark. Here’s a picture:

Not exactly easy to see at first, but that’s clearly him! A leak earlier in the week all but confirmed that Ganondorf would appear in Smash Bros. once again, but this screenshot cements his position as a playable character. The only question that remains is whether he will be officially revealed before the game releases.
