Game & Sound: Wind Waker Cover

Among the myriad video game soundtrack covers out there, Game & Sound’s work stands out for its exceptional MIDI-guitar pairing. The artist just made a resurgence with a cover of the Dragon Roost Island theme. Take a listen after the jump!

Although Dragon Roost Island seems to have become one of the most frequently covered Zelda tunes, this is among the best I have heard in recent memory. Similarly to many of his other tracks, Game & Sound applies his unique sensibilities to a familiar piece — the result is something that feels distinctly his own.
