The second of five exclusive videos as part of the Game Informer exclusive feature is now available. This video continues to venture through Eldin Volcano. The first thing we see is a Piece of Heart, just at the top right of the screen, on the ledge. Shortly after, it goes into a short cutscene showing a Pyrup noticing Link and retreating into a tiny hole. Oddly, the Pyrup sounds like a monkey. After the cutscene, Link attempts to continue but the Pyrup breathes out a stream of fire, stopping Link from advancing. Link then picks up a bomb and throws it at the hole, blowing up the Pyrup. Jump inside for more analysis.

This footage shows you how to use the Wii Remote Plus when throwing a bomb. Notice the long arrow under Link’s feet after picking up the bomb? It shows the direction the bomb will roll. Also at the bottom of the screen, it shows you how to throw the bomb, it’s similar to how you throw a bowling ball in Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.

The next section of the video takes us outside the entrance of the Fire Temple. This part shows how dowsing works. When you go into first person, the outer screen turns purple, and a round cursor appears. While in first person view, you can use the control stick on the nunchuck to move around.

By holding the C button, the cursor will start to point in the direction of the item your looking for in the bottom left corner. Notice the cursor beeping and flashing a brighter purple when moving the cursor over the items spot? That’s the signal that tells you where the item directly is, and as you see, Link uses the Mole Mitts to dig up what looks to be a piece of a gear, which is in fact the key to the Fire Temple. As the text says, there are 5 pieces of this key that needs to be located in order to enter the Fire Temple. During this video, we also get to hear more of the Eldin Volcano background music, which really suits the environment.

Be sure to stay tuned, as the third exclusive video will be available very soon.
