Free Zelda-Themed Zone Downloadable for Sonic Lost World

A new DLC has just been released for Sonic Lost World, adding a new level called “The Legend of Zelda Zone”. The zone features music, monsters, items and areas all from Zelda games, and unlike most Lost World levels, it has Sonic run through a more free-roaming area of Hyrule. Link even makes some cameos!

This is a really great idea. I appreciate that they decided to have a free-to-explore style of level, rather than a linear zone like the recent Lost World DLC themed after Yoshi’s Island. The whole level makes you wonder how well the entire kingdom would work as a Sonic level, and what parts of Hyrule could be used should another similar DLC be made. Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword were catered to in this zone, but there are plenty more Zelda’s to choose from, after all.
