Fan-Made Zelda game: Hyrule: Total War

Ready for an entirely new take on the Zelda series? In this stunning fan-made game titled, Hyrule: Total War, players are introduced to real time strategy within the Zelda universe where you can build your own kingdom, command characters and races, level up, and even choose the fate of Hyrule. Although Hyrule: Total War is a mod for Medieval 2: Total War, implementing Hyrule and all of its races and characters from past to present, makes it all the more interesting given the variety of choice along with a new a take on a ominous theme than we have seen before with Twilight Princess and Majora’s Mask.

Offering new possibilities that we have never experienced in the Zelda series from Nintendo, this mod encourages players to freely experience all new perspectives whether it be for good or absolute domination. For anyone curious of what could be more of Hyrule other than it’s field and seemingly peaceful villages, things seem to be far more complicated as seen in the trailer. “Players will command the various characters and races from the Zelda series while they play through the main storyline or participate in a freeform campaign where anything can happen.” Finally seeing some action from the many races of Hyrule come together in a total war is beyond what I could have imagined after merely thinking all of Hyrule was at peace after saving it. Though the mod has been out for a while already, this trailer was recently uploaded likely due to its 3.0 release. This mod defiantly looks like its worth giving a try, especially since we most likely won’t see anything like this from Nintendo.
