Experience the View and Ambience of this Classical Guitar Cover of the Stone Talus Theme from Breath of the Wild

One of the core things that helps with most music videos is the environment. The surroundings a musician is in usually help define the meaning behind what one is singing or playing about. The Zelda cover we’re listening to today makes sure that the surroundings compliment its version of a certain rock beast’s music.
This classical guitar cover of the Stone Talus Theme from Breath of the Wild comes to us from guitarist Sam Griffin. What makes this version of the song work so well is where Sam decided to play. Doing the video for this cover in a place that looks a bit familiar to Gerudo Valley definitely gives the tune more of a meaning. It even feels a bit like the rocks are just about to turn into a Stone Talus out of nowhere.
Other Zelda covers that Griffin has done include work on Hateno Village, the Song of Healing, Hyrule Castle (the A Link to the Past version), Revali’s Theme, and the Main Theme from Breath of the Wild. As for other game series, Sam has also worked on music for Final Fantasy, Kirby, Castlevania, Kingdom Hearts, and much more.
What do you think of this cover? Will you be checking out any more work from Sam Griffin? Let us know in the comments below.
