Epona Weapon Revealed As Part of First Hyrule Warriors DLC

Over the past week we’ve been getting plenty of new information about additional content for Hyrule Warriors that will be released soon. Today, Eiji Aonuma, the Legend of Zelda series producer, revealed that even though Epona isn’t part of the base game, we will be able to use her in Hyrule Warriors.

So it looks like Epona will be rideable, although we can’t say for sure weather she will behave in the same way as Midna’s wolf, disappearing when not in use, or if she will behave like a traditional Epona, staying wherever you leave her.

Epona will be part of the “Master Quest” Pack, releasing October 16th. There is no word on individual pricing for the three upcoming packs, however you can pre-purchase all three with the season pass, which is $14.99 USD.

As an Epona fan, I’m really happy to see her make her return. I’ve always wanted to fight bosses riding Epona!
